NEW for 2025 – Wild Coast & Wild Moor takes you from the rugged coast of North Somerset to the heart of Exmoor. Weaving from pebble beaches with the wash of the sea, through steep-sided river valleys to the open wild moor with its big views and coastal backdrop.
Ancient fishing villages, Victorian resorts, prehistoric standing stones and tucked-away farming communities are just some of the highlights of this fascinating trip.

Wild Coast & Wild Moor in brief
A self-guided independent inn to inn walking tour. 6 and 7 day tour options available. Choose your preferred arrival day & date.
Day 1
Time to settle in at your seaside inn with an optional short walk if you’d like to explore.
Day 2
Hike through a wooded valley to the open moor where sea views, an ancient church and Victorian garden follies await.
Day 3
Follow the river as it cuts through the land, past old farms and an abandoned medieval village.
Day 4
Cross the moor to join the river as it flows through gorge and valley to the sea.
Day 5
Iron Age settlements, prehistoric stone circles and an iconic medieval landmark await on today’s dramatic walk.
Day 6
Wander the landscape as moor gives way to farmland and a traditional bustling market town.
Day 7
Time for your onward journey, taking memories of your adventures with you.

Your daily itinerary will be customised to you and you will receive a personalised price quotation with your itinerary. As a guide our walking tours are typically between £200 – £270 per person, per night, based on 2 sharing a bedroom.
