Each inn was unique and so comfortable and welcoming after a day of walking. Meals were delicious and the pubs were fun. Clearly Allison and David are intimately familiar with the area. We saw almost no tourists. Maps and directions were clear and very specific. We can’t wait to go back!’

There’s nothing we love more than showing our guests parts of England off the beaten path; regions that they may otherwise never have visited. The beautiful county of Wiltshire is a case in point here. Away from the more established walking regions of England, this wonderful county has so much to offer: sweeping views, big skies, characterful cottages, stately country houses and gardens, and thousands of years of human history all waiting to be discovered.
