Foot Trails announces new trips, trails and inns for 2025

Pebble beach and groyne in Porlock Weir

At Foot Trails, we’re getting the new year off to a great start with two new trips and a refresh of one our favourite walking & hiking trips.

Wild Coast & Wild Moor is a NEW inn to inn trail that takes you from the rugged coast of North Somerset to the heart of Exmoor. Weaving from pebble beaches with the wash of the sea, through steep-sided river valleys to the open wild moor with its big views and coastal backdrop.

Ancient fishing villages, Victorian resorts, prehistoric standing stones and tucked-away farming communities are just some of the highlights of this fascinating trip.

We’re also delighted to announce that we’ve added some new experiences to our popular Complete Cotswolds, Chipping Campden to Bath inn to inn walking trip. The trail now includes even more of the timeless beauty of this National Landscape—from the northern tip of the Cotswolds to the stunning Georgian city of Bath in the south, nestled amongst wooded hills beside the River Avon.

This walking tour celebrates the Cotswolds region in all its glory, from bustling market towns built on the wealth of the wool industry through the undulating Cotswolds countryside with its quaint villages and farms to the edge of the Cotswolds escarpment with its stunning hilltop views. All before arriving on foot to the city of Bath and its Georgian splendour.

And last, but by no means least, we’re thrilled to also tell you about our NEW Foot Trail – King Arthur’s Trail. Celebrating the link between landscape, folklore and history, this NEW inn to inn trail explores the landscapes that have inspired the stories and legends of King Arthur and his knights. From the ancient abbey and tor at Glastonbury to the mysterious Somerset Levels – a land of mystery and vintage cyder!

Steeped in history and a legendary mystique, this trail has a little of everything from beautiful villages to Iron Age hill forts, big views and tales of the knights of old, maybe even Arthur himself.

You can find further information on all of these trips on our website, in our 2025 brochure or by simply by sending us an email.
