Inspired by the glut of autumn fruit in the countr

Inspired by the glut of autumn fruit in the countryside, I decided to celebrate the new season with a British classic: homemade apple & blackberry crumble. 🍂

A few weeks ago, I picked wild blackberries while out walking in Wiltshire and froze them until the apples in my garden were ready.

Once the time was right, I whipped up a simple batch. Before long, the smell of warm spices, butter, and sweet fruit filled the whole kitchen!

The result? Tart, spicy fruit and golden crumble. Pure autumn perfection.
Luckily, I saved enough to bring to Foot Trails HQ for our team meeting the next day! 🥄
