Introducing: King Arthur’s Trail

Discover the heart of rural England where mystery, legend & myth entwine with ancient history, and villages rise like islands from the Somerset Levels. Beautiful villages, Iron Age hill forts, big views and tales of knights of old, maybe even King Arthur himself.

Our NEW King Arthur’s Trail trip takes you through this wonderfully rural landscape, to a hillfort rumoured to be Camelot, a bustling market town that was once the capital of Saxon Wessex, through ancient abbey ruins where Arthur and his knights may once have roamed, to the ancient isle of Avalon and the place where the legendary king is rumoured to be resting, waiting to be reawakened one day.

Steeped in history and legendary mystique, this trail weaves its way through the heart of rural England, where mystery, story and myth entwine with ancient history and traditions. There are breathtaking views to enjoy along with stunning Elizabethan houses, picture-book villages, vintage apple cider orchards and cosy country inns.
