Landscapes and Seascapes
Through the folds of the land to the coast
Landscapes and Seascapes is an inn to inn walking trail over 6 nights.
We love this area for its step back in time feel and its laid back slow pace of life. Discover charming Dorset villages with that feeling of being a million miles from anywhere, clear running streams and ancient mills.
Stay by the beach and listen to the sound of the waves as dusk falls, and everyone else has gone home!
Inn to Inn walking & hiking in Dorset, England
This is a linear (one way!) walking trail where you journey from country inn to country inn. You’ll spend two nights at each, for a more relaxing experience that avoids the need to pack and re-pack several times a day, and so you can make the most of experiencing the countryside around you.
Tales & stories here abound from the Neolithic, the area littered with barrows and earthworks from 1000’s of years ago. This is a landscape largely as it has been for the last few hundred years with little modern intrusion.
Your journey concludes exploring the coast with a stay beach side beneath the iconic ‘Golden Cap’ the South Coast’s highest sea cliff. Notorious for smuggling, there’s tales to tell.
