Explore Bath & The Cotswolds
Cosmopolitan Bath & classic Cotswolds
Explore Bath & The Cotswolds is a walking trail best enjoyed over 8 or 9 nights.
The country city of Bath is at the very southern tip of The Cotswolds, your base to explore for a few days. From here you journey to the Cotswolds countryside to enjoy a few days inn to inn walking, soaking up the views and charming villages.
This is a great Foot Trail for those who wish to mix a little of the cosmopolitan culture of the city with a walk in the quintessential English countryside.
Inn to Inn walking & hiking in The Cotswolds
Bath, a UNESCO heritage site, is a country city at heart, surrounded by wooded hills, the river meandering through. Spend a few days here taking walks in the landscape around and uncovering the stories and rich history.
You will then enjoy a driver tour across the South Cotswolds plains to pick up the walking trail across The Cotswolds. The trip from here will depend a little on your interests.
Our guests typically enjoy the Classic Cotswolds country of market towns and gorgeous villages, starting from the spiritual heart of The Cotswolds at Northleach and journeying via Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and onward to Chipping Campden.
Full of highlights including a stay in Bath, a driver tour across the southern Cotswolds and walking through charming villages with their Cotswolds cottages and gardens, and exploring the iconic Cotswolds market towns.
