Last Tuesday, the Foot Trails team (and team mascot Molly the king charles spaniel) met up for a walk and chat in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. This is something that we regularly take the time to do. Why? For a start, we’re a walking company and walking is what we all love to do. Secondly, we know more than most just how good it is for you to be outdoors: it reduces stress, slows your breathing and reduces fatigue.
It also takes us away from our screens, emails and the hum of the office. Conversations flow more naturally when you’re walking side by side and the fresh air gives your mind the chance to reset.
We walked around three miles through fields & woods and were treated to great views. Daffodils were out in force and we also saw muntjac deer, buzzards, sheep and the very first bluebells pushing up through the woodland floor. We chatted and laughed as the conversation naturally ebbed and flowed. To put the perfect finish on the morning, we stopped at one of our country inns for a warm drink before heading back, refreshed, to the office.
If you’d like to know more about our walking & hiking trips in South West England, visit our Trips page or send us an email. We’d love to talk through your plans.
